Authors p.o.v
What responsibilities do people have to animal?
People should take care of the animals and try to keep them from getting endangered because without them , I don't think we people won't be alive and we can't just magically bring them back and kill them again. Like for example, we need bees to have them suck out the honey from the flowers. We need to keep the animals alive without animals, what's the world gonna be like?
First article
Ending "shamu" stunts isn't enough time protect whales, activities say
What is the authors p.o.v?
The author wants to end sea world "shamu" stunts and especially with the whale being held captive.
The three pieces of evidence:
"He said ending the shows is a good first step but doesn't go far enough. He said that as long as sea world holds orcas in captivity, the problem caused by confining the whales will persist. Whales held in aquariums may suffer from stress and have broken teeth from biting on metal bars.
""They want the Orca experience to be activities the whale do in the wild." Manby said. " thing they perceive as tricks, they don't like as well" visitors at the other two parks don't necessarily feel that way, he said."
"The movie told of the case of Tilikum. That's killer whale caused the death of trainer Dawn Brancheu in 2010 by pulling he into at seaworld Orlando."
The second article
Endangered whale may be safer an aquarium
What is the authors p.o.v?
The author may think that whales may be more safer at a aquarium.
The three pieces of evidence:
"Lolita the orca was taken from puget sound here in the Pacific Northwest may years ago, and has been kept at Miami's sea aquarium ever since. On Wednesday, she was officially declared to still be one of the puget's sound of orcas."
"The puget sound are listed as endegered, she will now gain the protection of the federal Endangered species act."
""Lolita has been part of the Miami seaquarim family for 44 years," said Andrew hertz, seaquarim said general manager. " Lolita is healthy and thriving. There is no scientific evidence that...Lolita could save in a sea pen or the open waters of the Pacific Northwest, and we are not willing to treat her life as an experiment," he said"
How do the two authors distinguish their points of view from each other?
The author from the first article wants all of the whales that are in a aquarium to be free in the ocean, for example, "animal rights activists applauded sea worlds plan end its orca shows in San Diego. However, they said he marine park should stop keeping the killer whales in captivity altogether." But the author form the second article wants them be in the aquarium to stop them from being endegered, for example, "the puget sound orcas are listed as endangered, she will now gain he protection of the federal endangered species act."

Sensory/Language
The Tiger Rising
"Her orange dress with the pink polka dots-glowing on the horizon"
"Sistine looked up at him with her tiny black eyes."
"The bag was heavy and it stunk"
"And then there was the crack of a gun."
It showing a lot more detail and it showed how the characters feel and they put a real good comflict. The problem is good also.
Sistine was wanting to free the tiger out of the cage but Rob was disagreeing saying that it doesn't belong to them, that it belongs to Beauchamp.

Protagonist/Antagonist
Who is the protagonist and antagonist of your novel?
Protagonist: the Sohma family
Antagonist: people
The entire Sohma family are cursed by the vengeful zodiacs and the legendary cat. If they were hugged by the opposite gender, they will turn into their zodiac form but they need to be hugged by a normal person who isn't cursed. Like one of the characters who is a boy Kyo has to be hugged by a human girl to turn into his zodiac form which is the cat. If one of the normal people were to hugged Kyo and found out about his cursed. Their memories has to be erased by Hatori, like when yuk was in second grade, his secret was found out by one of the girls hugging him and Hatori had to erased all of yuki's friends and now they no longer remember him.

Story Elements
Book: Fruit basket
Character: Kyo Sohma
Kyo is not much of a social person. He has a very bad temper and gets mad easily, he hates yuki who is his cousin and fights him a lot. He does marshal arts and his sensai his is dad. He hates leeks and hates the rain. He does have a soft side but he show his anger side a lot more. Kyo has orange hair and light brown skin color or sun kissed skin color is another way I like to say it. He also have orange mixed with red eye color. He lives with a curse, along with his cousins shigure and Yuki and his other cousins (Kyo has a huge family). The curse is that the spirit animals or the Chinese zodiac possessed their bodies and now if a person in the opposite gender hugs them, they will turn into the zodiac form. For example since Kyo is possessed by the cat and if he gets hugged by a girl, he turns into his zodiac form.

Welcome to my first blog
Today is Friday. We are starting blogs in ELA. I'm excited to share my book with my peers.
Think of a character, what inference can you make about that character? Cite the evidence.
In my book school for good and evil.
The character Agatha likes to be alone, and wears black all the time.
In the text it said "you don't ever leave your house." And "well, for starters, you only wear black."
